Thanks Kamil and Albert. I'm pretty sure Kevin just used InDesign and Photoshop for the magazine. We'll have a Treehouse Magazine website up shortly and will post some tips on creating PDF's.

Congrats for this new baby! Amazing stuff there: great content + great design.

I wonder what tools do you use to make this magazine (I'm astonished)...

Anyway, thx for the 1st issue.

Sure Kamil, there are only three articles from this web site that reappear in the magazine and you can find them in the digest section at the end of the magazine (and even those articles are updated with new information). Everything else is new. That means 3 new features (maybe more depending on the submissions for the month, 3 new interviews, 3 book reviews, best of the web links for each section (programming, design, business), a cartoon, 9rules news and a marketplace section to find and advertise jobs.

Take a look at the free first issue to get a better idea.

Chris, Ryan and Kevin

Just got around to looking at your site and the attached
comments. Not fully sure I know what you are doing but the comments show people out there appreciate it. Hope those subscriber calls are flowing in. Best wishes to all and good luck with Treehouse.

Good start guys, but why only this tiny mention of the forum. You don't want anybody to find it? Of course you have a nice big discussion link in the pdf, but then a lot of people probably print it instead of reading on screen.

Glad you're enjoying the magazine and the quote, Shaun. The 6 month subscription will be one issue a month or 6 issues total.

Great job guys, I'm just looking through it now. I'm liking it so far, and theres a good chance I'll get a subscription, but I need to know why my $15 will get me for 6 months. 6 issues? 2 issues? 3 issues?

By the way, the quote in the code cover page is awesome!

Good luck with everything guys!
