My dad pointed out that if I did I'd have to get a job. That made me stop and think. I made a decision to take responsibility for my own education. I switched majors to something more practical, form electrical engineering to engineering technology, took a lighter course load and started taking classes just because I was interested in the subject. Long story short, three years later I graduated.</p> <p>Since that time I've been learning continuously and the work I do has little to do with what I learned in college. For thirty years I've been designing hardware and software of some kind. Now at the age fifty-nine I've been learning video production and post-production because I want to tell stories using moving pictures.
