&lt;p&gt;I know that permission can be denied by right-clicking, but if the user doesn&#8217;t take time to do this, wouldn&#8217;t a small shared object be a good way to maintain a small amount of data for users who clear cookies, etc.. very often?&lt;/p&gt;
