Tried to comment on your entry 'Prototype and the This Keyword; however, no 'add comment' section was available. You have a typo. this:

this.className = 'testing';

should be

this.ctrl.className = 'testing';

The best article for newbies! But could you help with one problem: I want to check form using prototype’s Ajax.Request and if user fills form right, then redirect(!) he to second page for registration with(!) right GET or POST variables from form otherwise, show him message. Could you help me?

hi has nothing to do with Prototype. It is just a variable I set to keep track of the Ajax calls. Sorry for not making that clear.
